    All about the Galapagos Island hopping &Tour Package -7 Day Adventure 2024-2025.

    Immerse yourself in the wildlife, culture and unique ecosystem the Galapagos has to offer as you hike, bike, kayak, and snorkel your way across the archipelago. You’ll spend the week snorkeling with curious sea lions, grazing sea turtles, majestic rays, and an abundance of tropical fish while visiting each of the 4 inhabited islands: San Cristobal, Floreana, Isabela, & Santa Cruz.

    You’ll start with a downhill bike ride through the San Cristobal Highlands learning about the vegetation before taking to the water for a first snorkel at the amazing Kicker Rock. You’ll hike up an active volcano to one of the biggest calderas in the world on Isabela Island, take a coastal kayak in Isabela’s beautiful bay, and dine on a black sand beach in the mysterious Floreana Island. Blue-footed boobies, marine iguanas and frigate birds populate each island and up close encounters are common so have your camera ready!

    Each island has historical and educational sites you’ll visit along the way to learn about the human history and the many programs in place to maintain this delicate environment through research, education and sustainable tourism. You’ll be staying in quaint hotels and dining in local restaurants that get you off the beaten path and into the amazing culture. No trip would be complete without an opportunity to observe giant tortoises in their natural habitat which we do just before strolling through an ancient lava tunnel.

    Going and coming from the trip:

    You should arrive at the San Cristóbal Airport preferably before 12:00 pm Galapagos time on day 1 of this trip. Upon arrival at the airport, a person will greet you at the passenger exit and take you by taxi to the hotel to check in at the hotel.
    There are no planned activities on day 7 (the last day), the transfer to the Itabaca canal will take place at the time scheduled by the passengers according to their flight time. In Itabaca passengers will have to take a water taxi to cross the canal and get to Baltra, then they will have to buy a bus ticket to get to the airport.

    Start of the trip: This trip begins with your arrival at San Cristóbal Island, Galapagos, Ecuador, on day 1.
    End of the trip: This trip ends with your departure from Galapagos, on day 7.

    1. Day 1 Arrival San Cristóbal Airport

      AM: Arrival San Cristóbal Airport, transfer to hotel for check in and lunch at restaurant.

      PM: Hike to Playa Mann to set up equipment and give directions about kayaking. The departure will be from Mann Beach, rowing towards Punta Carola, following the coast through Darwin Bay and finally arriving at Baquerizo Beach. Upon arrival, we will have some time to relax and enjoy the beach and then the snorkeling activity will take place. At the end of the activity, we will have a break and then we will prepare for the return to Playa Mann. Along the way we can see sea lions, marine iguanas, sea turtles, colorful fish, frigate birds, blue-footed boobies and different types of finches.

    2. Day 2 Biking to Puerto Chino Beach + Surf

      AM: Passengers will be received at the office to give them instructions on the activity to be carried out. They will be provided with bicycles in good condition to cycle on a paved road, using the bike path from Puerto Baquerizo to Puerto Chino Beach, the route is 25 km away; At the beginning of the route, the flora, fauna and climate will change since it will reach 600 meters above sea level. The duration is approximately 2h 30m. Upon arrival at Puerto Chino, you will have time to relax, enjoy the beach and after that; the surf instructor will give you the details of the activity to be carried out.

      The return can be done by bicycle or you can take a taxi to the port. Upon arrival, a delicious lunch will await you with the best seasonal seafood.

      PM: In the afternoon there will be a less intense activity, which consists of a 2km walk to Lobería beach, where you will be able to observe sea lions, marine iguanas, different types of birds, you will have time to relax, rest and enjoy from the landscape.

    3. Day 3 Departure to Isabela (Plane)

      AM: Passengers will be picked up from the hotel and taken to the airport to take the plane to Isabela Island. Passengers will be able to carry up to 25 pounds or 11 kg of luggage, if the weight is exceeded the airline will charge $2 for each extra pound.

      The flight time is approximately 45 minutes, upon arrival in Isabela a person will meet you and take you by taxi to the hotel. Later they will have their lunch in a restaurant with the best service in Isabela.

      PM: A mountain and beach biking activity will be carried out towards the visit site called Wall of Tears, the route has a distance of 6km, the path is variable; You will go through the seashore until you reach the entry point where there is a booth with park rangers who will help you with any additional information you need. Along the way you will find several entrances, which will take you to different beaches and visitor sites. On the way you will be able to observe giant tortoises, marine iguanas, different types of birds, brackish water pools called wetlands in which there may be flamingos, at the end of the road you will find a wall built with stones by the ancient settlers known as the Wall of tears.

    4. Day 4 Kayak Tintoreras + Snorkeling

      AM: Passengers will be picked up from the hotel to take them to the pier and carry out the activity. The guide will give the necessary instructions and you will proceed to kayak in the bay until you reach the Tintoreras islet, the tour lasts about 30 minutes, the activity is of slight intensity, when you reach the islet you will snorkel in which sea turtles will be observed , rays, white tip sharks, different types of fish, sea lions, among others.

      PM: In the afternoon there will be a surfing activity at a place called El Faro. Passengers will be instructed to go to a meeting point, where each one will be provided with a surfboard and they will travel to the Lighthouse. The instructor will give the respective instructions and will be with the passengers until the activity is completed. After that they will be taken back to the hotel.

    5. Day 5 Hiking Sierra Negra Volcano + Chico Volcano

      AM: Passengers will be picked up from the hotel to take them to the Sierra Negra Volcano tour, they will be with more passengers who will do the same tour. Upon reaching the Upper Part, a guide from the Galapagos National Park will give you the respective instructions before starting the walk. The distance is 8.5 km until you reach Volcán Chico, it is a medium-intensity walk that lasts about 3 hours. On the trail you can see the crater of the Sierra Negra Volcano, its vegetation, dry lava, different volcanic formations and lava holes.

      PM: In the afternoon there will be a less intense activity, passengers will be picked up and taken to the pier for the next activity. Passengers will paddle in calm waters and will be able to observe marine life around the bay, this activity will last from 2 to 3 hours.

    6. Day 6 Paddle in the Bay

      AM: Passengers will be picked up from the hotel and taken to the dock to board the Ferry to Santa Cruz, the navigation lasts 2 hours, upon arrival a person will receive them and take them to the hotel. After that, there will be a walk to Tortuga Bay beach, where you can enjoy its turquoise waters, white sand and surf the strong waves at Playa Brava.

      PM: At sunset passengers will be picked up and taken to the upper part of the island, they will observe giant tortoises in their natural habitat, horses, farm animals and a campfire will be made to prepare for the camping night.

    7. Day 7 Campsite, Departure to Baltra Airport

      AM: This day there are no planned activities, passengers will be transferred from the upper part to the Itabaca channel for their respective air flight to the Ecuadorian continent.

    To participate in this tour, you must be on San Cristóbal Island (Puerto Baquerizo Moreno).
    The itinerary may change due to Galapagos National Park regulations or weather conditions.
    Please note that in order to protect the environment of the Galapagos Islands, the Government of Ecuador has prohibited the use of plastic bags and polyethylene containers in the Archipelago. Visitors to the islands are not allowed to bring these items with them. This measure is effective as of May 2018.

    NOTE FOR FLIGHTS TO GALAPAGOS: Please make sure you book a flight in advance, and take into account the airport codes (San Cristóbal – SCY) (Santa Cruz – Baltra). We suggest that the arrival time be before 12:00 pm to follow the order of the itinerary shown. However, if you need to book a late flight (later than 11:30am), please let us know as soon as possible (preferably at the time of tour booking). We will have to modify the order of the activities in the itinerary.

    IMPORTANT NOTE FOR FLIGHTS TO GALAPAGOS: Please make sure to choose a late flight for your return to Quito from Galapagos on the last day (Day 7) of the Galapagos tour (departing after 12:30 PM)
