Going and coming from the trip:

You should arrive at the Baltra Airport – Santa Cruz preferably before 11:00 pm Galapagos time on day 1 of this trip. Upon arrival at the airport, a person will greet you on the other side of the Itabaca canal and take you by taxi to the first point of visit.

There are no planned activities on day 7 (the last day), passengers will be transferred to the airport at the scheduled time of the flight.

Start of the trip: This trip begins with your arrival at Santa Cruz Island, Galapagos, Ecuador, on day 1.

End of the trip: This trip ends with your departure from Galapagos , on day 7.

  1. Day 1 Rancho Chato - Kayak Tortuga Bay

    AM: Arrival at the Baltra Airport, a person will receive you at the Itabaca canal from which you will be taken to the first visit site called Rancho Chato, there you will take a walk observing giant tortoises, lava tunnels and have lunch. After that, they will go to Puerto Ayora to check in at the hotel.

    PM: In the afternoon you will visit Tortuga Bay beach, which is a fine white sand beach with many marine iguanas, turtles and whitetip reef sharks. There they will carry out the kayak activity, on the calm beach it does not have dangerous waves and its waters are turquoise.

  2. Day 2 Bartolome Island

    AM/PM: Passengers will be transferred along with other tourists from Puerto Ayora to the Itabaca channel, from which they will navigate approximately 3 hours to reach Bartolomé Island. On the island you will disembark and walk for 30 to 40 minutes until you reach a viewpoint from which you will be able to observe the entire volcanic panorama, the dark tomato-colored beaches and blue waters. After that, they will snorkel and observe penguins, white tip reef sharks and various colorful fish. They will have breakfast and lunch on board, as well as snorkeling equipment and snacks.

  3. Day 3 Fery to Isabela - Tunnels - Romantic dinner on the beach

    AM: In the morning passengers will take the ferry to Isabela and will sail for about two hours. Upon arrival at the island, a person will wait for you at the pier and take you to the hotel to check in , then they will pick you up to take you to the Tunnels tour. From Puerto Villamil you will sail around 45 minutes to Cabo Rosa, where you will snorkel and observe: sea turtles, rays, black and white tip reef sharks, sea lions and penguins. They will then walk through the lava tunnels and observe the nests of blue-footed boobies.

     

    PM: In the afternoon you can relax on the beach and rest. At night they will have a romantic dinner on the beach and enjoy the seasonal seafood.

  4. Day 4 Hike to Volcan Chico or Biking to Sulfur Mines

    AM: You can choose between cycling to Sulfur Mines or hiking to Volcán Chico. Sulfur mines is a site of fumaroles that is located inside the crater of the Sierra Negra Volcano, the route is approximately 15 km away, it is a mountain biking on the route they are observing the crater of the Sierra Negra volcano and on the other side the Sierra Azul volcano. The walk to Volcán Chico lasts approximately 3 hours, you can see the crater of the Sierra Negra volcano from two viewpoints and then you will arrive at Volcán Chico which is a site with formations of old volcanic eruptions of the Sierra Negra that remained intact.

    PM: In the afternoon you will enjoy the beach and relax with complimentary cocktails.

  5. Day 5 Biking to Wall of Tears - Plane to San Cristóbal

    AM: They will carry out a cycling activity towards the site called the Wall of Tears, which is a path that starts along the shore of the beach, marine iguanas, giant tortoises, different types of birds, wetlands where you may find flamingos, white sand beaches and a brackish water estuary. The distance is 12 km round trip.

     

    PM: In the afternoon you will travel by plane to San Cristóbal Island, where upon arrival a person will meet you at the airport, take you to the hotel and then you will visit Carola beach.

  6. Day 6 Tour to Leon Dormido

    AM / PM: They will make the tour to León Dormido, which will start in the morning and end in the afternoon. You will sail around 45 minutes to the formation of volcanic ash, snorkeling around the rock for about an hour and you will be able to observe sea turtles, sea lions, reef sharks, hammerhead sharks, rays, dolphins, killer whales and whales . They will have their lunch on board and then they will visit a beach that can be Cerro Brujo, Manglesito or Puerto Grande

  7. Day 7 Departure from San Cristobal Airport

    This day there are no planned activities, passengers will be able to rest, relax and at the time the flight is planned they will be transferred to the airport.

The hotels are comfortable and charming, superior tourist class. They are well located in the city, but they are not always on the beach or in front of the sea. Premium Hotels are first-class luxury boutique hotels. They are located right on the beach or facing the sea. All hotels are locally owned and operated.

To participate in this tour, you must be on Santa Cruz Baltra Island).

The itinerary may change due to Galapagos National Park regulations or weather conditions.

Please note that in order to protect the environment of the Galapagos Islands, the Government of Ecuador has prohibited the use of plastic bags and polyethylene containers in the Archipelago. Visitors to the islands are not allowed to bring these items with them. This measure is effective as of May 2018.

NOTE FOR FLIGHTS TO GALAPAGOS : Please make sure you book a flight in advance, and take into account the airport codes (San Cristóbal – SCY) (Santa Cruz – Baltra). We suggest that the arrival time be before 11:00 pm to follow the order of the itinerary shown. However, if you must book a late flight (later than 11:30am), please let us know as soon as possible (preferably at the time of tour booking). We will have to modify the order of the activities in the itinerary.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR FLIGHTS TO GALAPAGOS : Make sure to choose a late flight for your return to Quito from Galapagos on the last day (Day 7) of the Galapagos tour (departing after 12:30pm)
